The TSI securitisation platform and the three charitables foundations
The TSI securitisation platform comprises three charitable foundations, which become shareholders in the SPVs set up by TSI. The charitable foundations provide support for academic work in the following fields:
- Capital market research for Germany as a financial centre
- Capital market law for Germany as a financial centre
- Corporate finance for Germany as a financial centre
The purpose of the charitable foundations is to advance knowledge and the financial centre
The purpose of the charitable foundations is to advance academic research into, and teaching on, capital market law, the structure and development of the financial markets in Germany and Europe, corporate finance and capital markets. This is achieved by
- presenting an advancement award once every two years,
- offering financial support for the libraries of the above-mentioned institutions,
- providing financial support for academic institutions to arrange guest lectures,
- setting up and maintaining study and research facilities preferably in connection with the above-mentioned institutions,
- organising academic congresses on the priority interests of the institution concerned,
- evaluating and publishing research findings and
- promoting vocational training for young academics to qualify them for academic research and teaching.
